Your call is heard, Tracie. Let's dissolve patriarchy from within ourselves. And oh the space that will leave for new possibilities!

<em>"...all of us – men and women alike – long deeply to be accepted, appreciated and celebrated just as we are. In this moment, I wonder if this simple little nugget of truth might be at the heart of the solution to every one of the problems that we face on this planet?"</em> Yes! Exactly that Yollana! And to changing our mindset about the planet her/himself. Appreciating the land just as it is, without viewing it as resource or property. Now wouldn't that be a powerful shift?

Yes! What a precious thing to be appreciated in this way... to have your beauty reflected back to you, and to then reflect it back to all the women that you know.

I've been away from the blogosphere for a while, but I'm reading your post directly after reading another friend's fiercely compassionate post called A Note to the Menfolk:

http://spunoutpost.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/note-to-menfolk.html

And it's clear from both of these... and my own most recent blog musings... that all of us - men and women alike - long deeply to be accepted, appreciated and celebrated just as we are.

In this moment, I wonder if this simple little nugget of truth might be at the heart of the solution to every one of the problems that we face on this planet?

Love Yollana

This piece also spoke deeply to me. I felt like you were addressing me specifically, giving me the invitation to access my own Inner Wise Woman to understand what was weighing me down, obscuring my view of my North, so I could recognize each piece, thank it and set it aside, to re-align to my current North. I love the idea of using those old weights as compost for future growth.

I missed your deep wisdom, but can see/feel how productive this quieter time (from our perspective) has been. I thank you both for taking that time and for sharing the gifts you mined from it upon your return.

Ann, my wild heart is cheering you on! There are so many of us having similar experiences. We're preparing the way for a time when that collision doesn't need to happen. When our wild hearts are always free. You're in good company :-)

Tracie, every word of this spoke to me. The collision of the old rigidity and that strong wild self is storming through my life with great power right now. What an exhilarating, scary, interesting ride.

Thank you! More and more I'm finding myself helping women remember their inherent wildness -- their marrow-deep wisdom -- their source of power and creatvity... It's so needed!

As usual I love this! Especially 'While you may not be a young tree, you can certainly think like a young tree. If you’ve lost your north, accept help. Let shattered, useless ideas become the compost that feeds your continued awakening. Don’t give up. Even if your crown is nearly touching the earth.

Remember your inherent wildness. Your fierce self. '

I am sharing!!!
